What to Expect at FBC Cooperstown
Welcome to First Baptist Church! We're excited you want to join us for worship. We know that visiting a new church can be a daunting experience so we have included some information to make you feel as welcome as possible. At the bottom of the page, there is a slide show featuring pictures of church life here at FBC.
There is plenty of parking in the lot behind our church, as well as street parking along Elm Street.
Downstairs we have three restrooms, including one that is gender-neutral and fully accessible, along with changing tables.
Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable, on any given Sunday you will find people wearing anything from jeans to suits and everything in between. We gather together to worship and fellowship, and we can do that no matter what type of clothes you’re in.
Our worship is dynamic and creative. Our services are very musical, and the music ranges from traditional hymns to jazz. We sing the doxology and pray the Lord's prayer together.
In you are coming in person, there are several entrances to the church. To access the fellowship hall you can use the steps on the right side of the building or the elevator on the left. The sanctuary can be entered via the elevator, or the two main entrances facing Elm Street.
We currently stream our services on Facebook live, in case you'd like to see what church is like before visiting for the first time or if you can’t attend in person. Check us out at @ctownfirstbaptist.
